While there is no shortage of Smarter Cities ideas and opportunity for technology to improve City services, the challenge has been how to find business models that every City can leverage to deploy them.  In this presentation, we’ll cover several examples that are showing promise in helping people find available affordable housing, and make the data available to city planners.  Austin is one of the country’s leading growth cities, which has put a strain on transportation as well as housing inventory.  The mayor declared Affordable Housing as one of the top priorities for the city in 2017, and Governing magazine made this a cover issue for the country in general.

The presentation will cover different business models considered, the issues in deployment, and alternatives now being pursued.
