We are pleased to offer a unique opportunity to support the IEEE Green Technologies Conference and participate in the Job Fair sponsored by IEEE, The University of Louisiana College of Engineering and the Energy Institute of Louisiana and the members of the IEEE Lafayette Section. Approximately 400 Engineers, Researchers, Innovators, and Engineering Students from around the world will be attending the 2019 IEEE Green Technologies Conference and competing in IEEE Student Competitions during the 4 day event. The students participating in the competitions represent the best in their university programs with current knowledge of the engineering design and research.

The academic papers presented at the IEEE Green Technologies Conference are judged on their quality, research, sus- tainable designs, and applications related to Green Technologies. The best papers are included in the conference preceding published in IEEE Explore. Green Technology topics include Energy Management and Efficiency, Integration and Manage- ment of Distributed Renewable Energy Sources, Innovative Energy Storage Technologies, Sustainable Off-the-Grid Energy Source Applications, Smart Grid, Smart Cities, and Smart Villages.

Students participating in the Student Paper Competition are judged on the quality, research, designs and applications. The topics encompass the spectrum of electro-technologies.

Those teams competing in the Autonomous Robotics Competition are judged on their ability build an autonomous robots capable of meeting the detailed design specifications. The autonomous robots employ navigational control, machine learning, pattern recognition, a wide array of sensors and transducers to accomplish the specified task is the best time. Past applications included mapping underground tunnels under a developed area and identify those tunnels most likely to be in ac- tive use.

Those teams competing in the circuit design competition are presented with a realistic design application problem and budget constraints on the morning of the competition. They are provided with lab space, tools and materials and spend the rest of the day designing and building a prototype meeting the design specifications. The prototypes are judged based on the com- pliance with the specifications, and budgeted costs to produce.

Many of the students participating in the event are officers in student organizations at their universities. They are skilled in working in a team environments. Most have demonstrated leadership skills and are self starters.

We wish to offer several opportunities to participate in the job fair and support the Green Technologies Conference and Student Job Fair.
