About IEEE GreenTech

GreenTech covers a broad spectrum of renewable energy systems (wind, solar, hydrogen, fuel cells, geothermal, and energy storage) alongside the integration and control of inverter-based resources (IBRs). The conference highlights advances in transmission and distribution, grid stability, HVDC, microgrids, demand-side flexibility, evolving energy markets, and high-impact loads such as data centers and electric transportation. It also explores the growing role of AI, machine learning, and smart grid technologies in enhancing efficiency, cybersecurity, and resilience. Core topics include power electronics, electric machines and drives, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) systems, and electrified infrastructure, together with the standards, regulations, and policies that guide the integration of distributed energy resources (DERs) and IBRs. GreenTech also champions workforce development, inclusive education, and energy justice, ensuring innovation supports both technological and societal progress. Emerging and cross-cutting topics that push conventional boundaries are also welcome.
