It has been almost 50 years since the maiden flight of the world’s first hypersonic vehicle, so where are we now? SpaceX’s Hyperloop Pod Competition is pushing innovation in the hypersonic industry with transonic transportation and student involvement. Based out of the UT, Texas Guadaloop is actively bringing this technology to ‘The Texas triangle’, Home of the US’s largest group of Super-Commuters. X-planes taught us how to achieve high speeds and the Space Race taught us how to survive them, Will hyperloop spinoff technologies finally teach us how to apply them to the consumer?
