The 2021 IEEE Green Technologies Conference theme is “Secure and Clean Energy Systems for the 21st Century”
Welcome from Denver, the home of the 13th annual IEEE Green Technologies (GreenTech) Conference. This year’s conference technical sponsors are IEEE Industry Applications Society, IEEE Power and Energy Society, IEEE Power Electronics Society, and IEEE Reliability Society. In addition, it is financially sponsored by the IEEE Denver Section and IEEE Region 5.
The conference offers an excellent opportunity for virtually presenting technical papers to a gathering of international experts in green technologies. This year’s conference theme is “Secure and Clean Energy Systems for the 21st Century.” The conference serves as a forum for engineers, researchers, and specialists from academia, research centers, and industry worldwide to discuss and present the latest developments and applications related to the challenges of securing green and clean energy sources. The main areas of interest include renewable energy and smart grids, energy generation, transmission, distribution and storage, transportation, electrification, codes, standards, regulations and policies, and related topics, including engineering education.
With so many exciting and interesting developments in the field of green technologies today, GreenTech 2021 draws insights and encourages collaboration from many disciplines and backgrounds. It makes a difference in the world through the sharing of innovative ideas and is truly international, as scientists and engineers from many countries are participating in the conference. The technical program includes three full days of oral sessions, workshops, and panel sessions. The Technical Program Committee planned a stimulating and excellent technical program that includes original papers submitted by authors from over 30 countries.
As GreenTech2021’s general chairman, I would like to express my gratitude to all members of the Editorial Board and the organizing committee for their much appreciated work, expertise, and dedication. I would also like to thank members of the different committees for their continuous and diligent work during the past two years. Finally, I would like to thank all of you who have contributed to the conference by submitting technical papers, holding tutorials, or attending the conference. You have all helped make it a great success.
On behalf of the conference committees, we thank all of you for participating in IEEE GreenTech 2021.
